I am an evolutionary and conservation ecologist with a diverse set of interests. At the time of writing (Summer 2023), graduate student projects in the lab are focused on a better understanding of the ecology, evolution, and conservation status of two species: bull trout and long-toed salamanders. Additionally, a co-supervised student (with Drs. Bhatnagar and Hubert) is studying bacterial communities associated with microplastics in river systems. This fall, a graduate student will join the lab to study beavers.
