Research Interests

  • The ecology of human induced habitat changes with particular interest in thresholds of population persistence
  • Habitat selection of ungulates and sexual segregation
  • Behavioural plasticity and its relevance for human induced habitat changes
  • Social behaviour including mate choice and reproductive effort and its effects on growth of small populations
  • Mating systems with particular emphasis on monogamy in mammals
