Biomembrane architecture (lipid rafts, domains), lipid-protein interactions, antimicrobial peptides; nanoparticle based pulmonary drug delivery; bioinorganic chemistry (membrane interactions of heavy metals); bioanalytical chemistry (bioassay development), biotechnology (development of handheld devices, microfluidics), biophysical techniques.
